Join our friends at Flanders Nature Center and Land Trust for a scenic mid-winter walk on Roxbury Land Trust’s beautiful Kress Family Trail at the Orzech Family Preserve on Thursday, February 9th at 10 a.m. Layer up and enjoy a riverside walk, meet new people, and expend some energy!  The walk will be co-led by Arthur Milnor, former Flanders Executive Director, and Ann Astarita, RLT’s Executive Director.

Meet at the 2 Botsford Hill Road parking lot and dress warmly in layers. (Please park only in approved areas and not on private property.)

Note that the trail abutting the Shepaug River is flat but can be uneven and may have some icy areas. Hiking sticks and well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome!  No charge but please register with or at the Flanders website so we know how many to expect.
