From Dawn to Dusk
For the safety and enjoyment of all, please respect the following rules on all Roxbury Land Trust preserves. Please report any problems to the Roxbury Land Trust 860-350-4148.
Roxbury Land Trust Rules
- All preserves close at dusk.
- Dogs must always be leashed and kept under the owner’s control. Please clean up after your dog.
- Please do not disturb any structures.
- No collecting plants, animals or minerals.
- Stay on trails; don’t make your own trails.
- Motorized vehicles, including ATVs and snowmobiles, are strictly prohibited.
- Hunting or trapping activities are prohibited.
- The use of firearms or any other weapon is prohibited.
- No camping or campfires.
- Practice leave no trace.
Be Weather Smart!
RLT maintains winter parking at Tierney, Mine Hill and Orzech Family Preserves. Please use good judgment with weather conditions, daylight hours and wet, snowy or icy trails. As always, motorized vehicles are prohibited, and preserves close at dusk.
Respect Our Farm Fields
The Roxbury Land Trust is committed to preserving our agricultural heritage. Please respect the farmers by staying off the fields and avoiding machinery and livestock.
