Celebrations of RLT's 40th Anniversary:

June 19 through July 26

Art Exhibit at the Minor Memorial Library.
"Images of the Roxbury Land Trust"
30% of the proceeds of sales will benefit RLT.

Saturday, June 26 at 8:30 a.m.

"Race for Open Space" — Roxbury Land Trust 40th Anniversary Road Race
at River Road Preserve. Registration is $5 per person; children under ten free are.
Fees benefit the Preserve. Open to all ages for walking or running.

Fourth of July Weekend

Hike the Battle Swamp Brook Preserve. From Roxbury green, take RT 67
north and turn right onto RT 199. Take first left onto Judd's Bridge Road.
Follow for 1.2 miles; entrance is on right between two stone pillars.

Sunday, September 19 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Sunset Celebration at Gavel Family Farm Preserve.
Bring your own picnic. Dessert to be provided by RLT. Unusual
instrumental music by Chris Merwin & Paul Mueller, members of
Mecca Bodega. (If it rains, go to Hurlburt Park, Apple Lane).

Sunday, October 24 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Open House at Widmark School House on Tophet Road.

Thanksgiving Saturday, November 27 from noon to 2:00 p.m.

Explore 19th Century Iron Mining at Mine Hill Preserve.
Self-guided family hike. Off Route 67. Historians will be on site at the furnaces.
